The Life and Times of Nursey Nurse, PHN

Just a nurse, talking about my work and the work of my life...

This journal was formerly called "They Shoot Nursing Students, Don't They?", chronicling my emotions as a nursing student during the eight months before graduation (May 2014-December 11, 2014). I loved journaling and decided to continue on as I took NCLEX and searched for a job. My first year working as a nurse begins in May 2015, when this journal became mostly about my emotions as I navigated the difficult terrain of being a brand new working RN. (It was not pretty.) I thought I was going to stop writing in the journal, but I came back because I find journaling does help me.

I am now a public health nurse, in my third year post nursing school and getting ready to go back to school. This should be fun...
