I'm not sure who even reads this anymore. But, if you're still lurking around and you want some help, I am here. And, although I am not a nutritionist, don't play on on TV, but I am a damn good researcher and have done so for my own health issues and those of others. There are two pieces of nutritional advice I would give to nearly everyone...
1. Eat more healthy fats: butter from grass-fed cows, coconut oil, avocado, flax, and nuts (but not peanuts; they're legumes)
2. Eat less sugar of all kinds and refined carbs. Ever wonder why grains and the like are at the top of the USDA Food Pyramid? Grain producers and food companies funded the 'studies.' *FYI: IF ever there's a question...follow the money.
In addition, but not food related is to move your body. Somehow, some way, every day. Get off your ass. This isn't meant to be condescending or judgemental in any fashion; bodies were designed to move. If you have issues, seek out a functional fitness trainer/facility or restorative yoga. Yes, nearly everyone can move.
I don't have all the answers, but I've found experts whom I trust. And, if my own journey doesn't inspire you, find someone who does. The internet is full of people taking control of their health and changing their lives.
