Scores of Snot

Eww!  Not really, scores AND snot! Okay okay...here goes
I got my PRAXIS scores Thursday evening. I was that big standardized test I had to take to measure my content knowledge. I did that on July 26th. It really was a lot like the exit exam I had to take before graduation. Some girl told me that there really wasn't a way to study for it, but you can buy study guides, Amazon, B&N and from their official website. I didn't buy them, but I did look at sample questions from the site, just to see what I was getting myself into. I mean I really didn't have a choice, in order to teach, you have to pass it.
So, the scores come in the mail. From the looks of the envelope, I think it's a bill or a statement from the company who does the testing. (BTW it's ETS) I ignored it until later in the evening. When I opened it, there's a bunch of propaganda to read telling you how to interpret the scores and such. But, really all I wanted to know is if I passed the MFer. I did!! Go ME!! 
Here's the cool part, South Carolina says you must have a certain score in order to pass their standards. (I guess it's different for every state.)I had to take two tests, General Content Knowledge and Composition & Rhetoric, the scores are...
Content Knowledge: SC's requirement 162 My score 168
Comp & Rhetoric: SC's requirement 150 My score 165
Yeah, I scored higher than necessary on both tests! But what blew me away, seriously, that I got fifteen points higher on the Comp & Rhetoric exam. I guess if I needed more proof that writing is my bag, I don't know where it'll come from.
I mean let me blow my own horn for a moment.
-A poem published in the Lit and Art mag.
-Dean's List for undergrad GPA.
-A 4.0 in my first two semesters of Grad School.
-Kick ass scores on the PRAXIS.
I rock! 
In other news, the car payment is made through January. I hope to be able to pay it off in Feb. Insurance is paid through March. I payed back MB for aforementioned tests and a car payment. Things are looking pretty good in the finace dept..finally!!! I still need to get the brakes done on the car-they are so bad yesterday when I pulled into the driveway, I could smell them. I am ashamed I let it go so long. But I'm taking the Stella Mobile in for a look see later this morning. (it is after all 5:10 AM)
I know why in the hell am I up so early with laundry going and all? Well I fell asleep last night about 9:30ish. I'mnot sure if it was the whole period thing knocking me out or the fact that I have some sinus thing going on and all the snot is running down the back of my throat causing me to cough like I smoke twenty packs a day believe me, I've got the sexiest, deepest voice a woman can have without testosterone shots.
