the money quote

I found it.

I found the quote that sums up exactly what I am feeling.

This is from today's USA Today, in an article talking about folks on the Gulf Coast who are still in the process of rebuilding their homes (and lives). They're interviewing a lady named Anita Byrd who literally lost everything - furniture, clothes, pictures, a lifetime of memorabilia. They've since rebuilt their house on the same property in the same neighborhood, but she says, "Life is just not the same. I just want to go home. Our routines are different, our recreation is different, our friends are different, our neighborhood is different. The things that you knew aren't there anymore. It changes a part of you."

Yes.

I want to 'go home' in a metaphorical sense. Where everything is familiar and recognizable and comfortable.
