American Idol was as disappointing as my Young Dom. Each is programmed to satisfy a chosen few. Apparently, I am not among either listing, tonight. That's really too bad, because...
I have so much to offer. Can a monetary value be placed upon it-no! Then again, maybe so. On the Seattle televised news tonight, they said that 'stay at home Moms' are to be catorgorized as CEO's. That if they were paid, they would gross, in excess of $134,000 annually. I believe that a 'stay at home Grandmamah' is as valuable. Especially one with a current Nursing Degree, singer, dancer, with comedian attributes. My talents are just too many to list...so, monetarily, I am valued by millions!
There. Sometimes, i must pat myself on my own back. My search for someone to pat me on my behind has not ended. Lately, as I watch American Idol, more and more gents are phoning me-especially during the programs. I don't think that they believe I am actually watching it, until they hear the television background noise.
This weekend a gent is flying up from Texas to tour Seattle with me. Of course, I'd rather do that with Simon Cowell or MYD. But, I must relieve these tear swollen eyes with some sort of diversions. Sure, those two fellows are interesting...but not interested- in Seattle.
It's nearly Midnight...it's a shiny quarter moon outside...and i remain sleepless-near Seattle! Last week end I found myself in a beautiful motel room in Marysville, complete with a jacuzzi. Maybe, I'll be as fortunate this upcoming weekend after touring the Warf and a jazz club...Haven't quite decided yet if i'll leave my cell phone on or off- it all depends on whether or not my company's interest diverts from Seattle to me, by the end of Saturday and Sunday... |
