WHY THE POPE IS TRYING TO MODERNIZE THE CHURCH
The Roman Catholic Pope is attempting to modernize the Church, due to many dangers faced from the outside world. He wants the Church to
secularize/ecumenisize; until it has the temporal power to impose the Catholic Faith, (Pre-Vatican II) by force. In doing this, he is bowing down to secular realities
and showing an absolute lack of faith in God to protect the Church. This has the Conservatives in the Church riled up. Here are some of dangers the Catholic Church
faces in the future:
1. Islamic terrorists could hit Vatican City with biological weapons, e.g. Mousepox, Smallpox, Anthrax, etc. Vatican city being so small, would be totally decimated
and a huge number of people there would be killed. This would look like God had shown his displeasure with the Church by letting this happen, and some Muslims would
see this as proof that their religion is the only true one. The Protestants would think the same thing.
2. Vatican investments and financial instruments could be artifically and falsely devalued, and dumped on their respective markets as worthless. This would cause a
panic on the part of whomever had investments in Vatican holdings, and cause them to disinvest in them to keep their investments from 'tanking'. It would not be true,
but they would believe it and disinvest in Vatican related portfolios. Once this was done the Vatican's wealth supply would crash and disappear.
3. The Vatican has been sacked in the past. If there were a breakdown in global economies and war began; the Vatican has a lot of gold, and art treasures, not to
mention the valuable works it has in its library/archives. These would be a good reason for foreign states to attack the Vatican and steal all of these valuable items.
The Swiss Guard is too small to repel the army of any European, American, or Asian country.
4. The Vatican could be taken down from within by those prelates who are sick of the Church, and who would steal its 50 billion dollar assets and run, therein
bankrupting the Church on their way out.
The Vatican is shrewd and its intelligence systems as well as its PR apparatus/lobbying groups, are second to none. But these things can happen anyway.
The Secret "Third Prophecy of Fatima" said that if the Vatican did not publically: "Consecrate Russia the Immaculate Heart Of Mary," that it would be destroyed.
The Vatican never did this, for fear of pissing-off the Russians and the Russian Orthodox Church, which would have been bad diplomacy.
The Vatican had better hope that all Fatima was was a bunch of nonsense.
