I hear a Great Horned Owl Smile.

I can't believe I didn't write yesterday. I was so absorbed in drawing stuff that I forgot. I was up at 4am and I went to bed early, reading "Lady from Krakow". I don't know why I am sleeping so much. Perhaps it is all the dental trauma. Technically that is what it is.

I reread my Poland journal. I still have 1/3 of it empty and have been debating on leaving it that way or filling it with whatever. I decided that I'm going to do a pocket moleskine daily planner journal for 2018 as an art journal. They are small, 3.5"x5.5 which is what this one is. So I did a blind contour of myself on one page and a drawing of my shot glass from Poland with vodka on my sketchbook with the Polish "To your health" or "Twoje zdrowie". It will work except the ink does shadow the next page so I'll have to collage some I guess. Anyway I ordered the moleskine since I have never seen a daily one ever so I know they don't sell them in these parts.

As of yesterday I am half way through my first cahier moleskine which is what I am doing my daily sketches in. Today's prompt is "tight pants". I have to laugh at some of the entries thus far. I'm surprised to see tight jeans as in they don't fit anymore or does this make my butt look big etc. from guys. Too funny. I'm doing a drawing from an old photograph of Tom Petty. Smile It's turning out to be a lot more work than I bargained for.

Dentist went well. I think I need one tooth lowered a hair. I can't really tell. I'm going back on Monday so I'll feel it out until then and decide.

I then ran the car to the mechanic's 45 miles in the opposite direction. I got in right at 2pm. I dropped it off and walked to the thrift store. I did buy a book on calving, a hand painted rosemaled home prayer done on wood in a handmade frame and some index card dividers in a larger size for work. The first two things will go in my booth at the antique store and the dividers to work. If they aren't the right size I'm only out .50 cents. All together I spent $2.50.

I then came home and made a pot of wild rice soup. That should last me all week.
