|A Businessy Day and A Quote|
December 19, 2011
I spent the morning on the computer, doing "stuff" for the Tea Society. I got the minutes typed up...hang on a minute...brb....
OK, I'm back. I typed up the minutes, and forgot to email them to Patti. So that's done.
I also made up a form to use at the tea parties to write down the menu and keep in the cookbook.
And I printed up the card that I designed for the tea ladies' birthdays. We have one birthday in Jan, so I wanted to get it ready to mail next week.
I also paid some bills online and off (and then got another one in today's mail, naturally!)
Now I'm going to go have some lunch, and watch "The Chew".
After that (or during the interminable commercial breaks!), I'll clean the bathroom.
Not a very exciting day, but a businessy one. And now I'm hungry (didn't eat breakfast), so I'm going to post this and go eat!
I got this quote in my email today. Just made me feel all cozy inside:
“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.”
-- Dame Edith Sitwell
