|Unsupervised Day 7|
May 13, 2016
Although I had 100% planned on hanging out at home today and do nothing but wait for my brother to come over and replace the faucets for me, he had other ideas.
Like me, my brother deals with some depression, so when he says he 'can' come do something, but he doesn't 'want' to, I get it. We made plans to replace them next week instead.
So since I did have a little free time, and since his wife has Friday off, I asked if she was interested in going to the Junk Hunt with me. I wanted to go down and drop off a few contracts for some of the craft vendors down there, and knew that it would be super crowded and crazy, and I didn't want to go alone...luckily, she was game so I picked her up at noon and we hit it.
I was only there an hour, but that was more than enough. Elbow to elbow people with everyone pushing and getting in the way. You'd think that none of these people had ever seen a rusty rake before...egads.
At any rate, I handed off contracts to one of my vendors, Shawna, and then I touched base with another gal who owns a local shop that sells a lot of repurposed stuff...she's got a couple gals who sell in her shop, so she got a couple contracts to hand out to them.
After, we peeked at everyone's stuff and then headed out. I dropped my sister-in-law off at home, and then went down and met Robin for coffee at Starbucks. I've been meaning to get together with her for the last week or two, and since I had nothing else planned and was craving some Starbucks anyway...why not kill two birds with one stone?
It was nice to catch up with her.
Now nothing left to do but enjoy my final unsupervised evening.
Love until later,
