|I Don't Know How To Make Her Understand|
May 26, 2016
At work, Stacie and I have a really hard time sort of communicating about the schedule....and that causes problems.
I'm supposed to be doing to the scheduling for the most part, so I make sure to touch base with Eryn about the schedule and when she wants to draw the line about how many she wants on any given day.
We try to keep it around 10-11 a day because she's the only one who does any cutting/shaving on the dogs. So I write a giant, "NO MORE" on the schedule for that day and hope that no more gets added.
Unfortunately, Stacie comes behind me and makes appointments on those days when I've written no more. She says that she likes to accommodate everyone who calls and doesn't like to tell them that it's weeks before they can get an appointment, even if that means that she's burning out Eryn.
The down side is that I come in and get to listen to Eryn bitch about how she's working too hard, doing too many dogs, and really needs fewer. When I explain that she needs to make sure to tell Stacie not to add more dogs after I've written "NO MORE" on the schedule, but Eryn doesn't like confrontation, so she prefers to not say anything.
Makes me crazy.
I think Stacie and I are going to need to go out and have dinner or coffee or something so I can impress on her that she needs to stop doing that...at least until we get another grooming in there to help lighten the load and keep Eryn from having a nervous breakdown.
We'll see how it goes.
Love until later,
