|The Way It Will Be|
August 12, 2008
Things are looking better with the morning light. Not exact how we want them, but, they are as good as they are going to get.
The recommendation for Sophie is... She will go to a RTF home a few miles out of Erie, PA, which is a hour from here. She will have 120 days there, she'll get therapy (I'm assuming), be working with a couselor, in that time if she shows major improvement of her behavior, her next step will to be with us. CYS told Dave this morning that everything that is going to be done is steps toward her ultimately living with us, not her Mom and not the POS she was with. We should be able to get her on weekends and we will have her for the holidays, if she's still there. Dave has calmed down (me too) and agreed that if we cant have her tomorrow that the plan they are recommending is what should be done. We will at least get to spend a couple hours with her tomorrow after the hearing. So we plan on taking her to lunch and maybe going to walmart to get a a outfit for school. Most likely she will be made to go to the RFT home, and CYS said she will personality drive her up there Thursday. The only HIGH point of it all is when Sophie goes there, she will be 4 hours away from her Mom and POS, and I told Dave I will almost BET they wont bother driving that trip to see her. Will get the full details of what we are allowed to do with her in a couple of days.
Dave did call Sophie last night and told her what most likey will be happening. He said she kept saying "I just want to go home" How does that NOT rip your heart out???
Thursday will be a "family" day. I have tickets to a Pirate game in Pittsburgh. They are going to have Sky Blast (fireworks) and REO Speedwagon will put on a mini concert. Dee is saying she doesn't want to go, and I wont force her. She can stay with Mom.
Cant even go to the pool, actually haven't been to the pool since the end of July because the weather has been way too cool, fucking sucks.
I'm out, Got to get this place picked up before Mom comes, she and I need to talk.
